The Brewery of Pécs has been the oldest enterprise of the City of Pécs. Beer is made here from the excellent karst-waters as of Mecsek, to be considered as the „present of the hills” since 1848.

When travelling to Pécs, Hungarian and foreign guests not only get acquainted with the sights and cultural values of the city, but can experience what gastronomy offers in the region. They can enjoy the atmosphere of pubs and restaurants, the places where, as part of a decent meal or a group meeting they can taste our products, especially our emblematic brand, Szalon beer, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2007.
