Continuing the heritage of the past, the current management of our company feels responsible to contribute to the improvement of daily life in the city. During its more than 150-year operation the brewery provided many families with proper jobs and the opportunity to earn a good living. As a thriving company it has added to maintaining the city and to enriching its values.

The management has good relations with the leaders of the City of Pécs and the County of Baranya. This co-operation is valued at a high level due to the fact that Pécs will be “European Capital of Culture” in 2010, and during that year the Brewery of Pécs also intends to offer its programmes to a wider audience, making the programme year even more colourful.

As for social responsibility, we can mention a couple of examples: we supported the programme of the county office of the Hungarian Red Cross organised for 500 blood donors, or we offered a prize at the first county-level Prima Prize Gala in 2007, in addition to our strategic co-operation with the University of Pécs, and to our sponsoring activities towards various public events in Pécs and its region.
