Hungary’s oldest breweries as a functioning company, the Brewery of Pécs invites you for an exciting Beer tour!

 

For 158 years, since its foundation on the slopes of Mecsek, the brewery has been making its beers from the karst-waters of the hills, selected malted barley and the rightly world-famous hops of Hallertau.

During the tour we show you where and how we produce our beers, and offer you an insight into the secrets of the beer-making of Pécs.
The visit is crowned by a memorable beer-tasting!
On the menu we kindly offer traditional Szalon with its 100-year experience or Szalon Barna, our special dark beer.

 

tour starting date:

The tour starts at 15:00 every Wednesday from the main entrance of the Brewery of Pécs (Tavasz utca). We organise tours for groups of 15 or more at individually negotiated hours.

Participation fee
890 Hungarian Forints per person, which includes the visit, one glass of draught Szalon and a souvenir.
